That feeling when the advice clicks!

Has anyone ever felt utterly inundated with outside influences? I have a friend who is done with workshops, seminars, masterclasses, you name it. I have another friend who feels a kind of rage at hearing the words “What you want to do is..” The feeling advice gives us can make us resistant to things that may even help us. It can just as well feel like more of a burden being placed on what feels like an impossible task. I’m thinking it has to do with timing and intent. Sometimes we didn’t ask for it. And sometimes the people talking to us don’t have our best interest in mind and just have really bad commission breath.

I had a friend tell me that I should write about the podcast conversations I have after I’m done. I should get it all out, impressions, feelings, etc. It’s a very obvious idea on the outside, but considering recording sessions can only be fitted in in very small pockets of time around the schedules of small children, it just wasn’t doable. It’s so easy for single people with no children to give advice for spending big luxurious chunks of time!

It has cycled back around in my head to now- that now would be a great time to do that writing and then feature guests in their own blog post! It can help me to blog more regularly and it can be a resource for the guests themselves, to put their name out there more. I’m ready now and I’m excited now.

I wanted to share this little nugget because maybe you’ve gotten some input at some point and it wasn’t the right time, but maybe now is the right time. Maybe ideas and dreams have been ruminating. Maybe you’ve been sitting in the goo stage of the pre-butterfly transition. All of us are becoming something. All of us have something beautiful and vital and fun to put out in the world. No one is drawn to this space that doesn’t feel that way! And as always I want to say- if you are missing some vital steps in your path, I am here for you. I am an ideas person, and encouraging person, a see-the-way-through-to-the-other-side-person. When we connect, I ask questions, and I give advice without expectation. I follow my intuition to give some ideas that hopefully feel doable and exciting. I’m here for the person who’s ready to jump in and who’s ready to try something new. I’m so excited to see who’ll I’ll connect to this year!
